About

Tuned to You is a collaborative fanzine project dedicated to love languages for the Jayvik and Vikjayce ships. Which meanstheir Arcane versions and League of Legends counterparts.
All proceeds made from sales will be donated to charity, which will be chosen based on feedback from our interest check.

Guidelines

Contributors must be, at minimum, 18 years of age by the time they apply, and NSFW content is strictly prohibited.We require all participants to use Discord for easy communication, and to actively communicate with our moderators throughout the project.Plagiarism, use of generative AI, and tracing are strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule will result in an immediate ban from the event, and you will not receive a free PDF of the zine.Should you require an extension for any reason, we expect you to communicate this to the mod team as soon as possible. Failure to communicate may result in removal from the event if you are unable to meet the deadline. Likewise, we ask that you communicate as soon as possible if you wish to drop out, so that we can find a pinch hitter in time.Follower count is not a judging block for acceptance! So long as the above guidelines are followed, anyone is free to participate.

But what is a zine?
A zine is an independently published “mini magazine,” usually produced by and for fans in small, limited batches.What is a pinch hitter?
A pinch hitter is an individual who will take over for a contributor, should they happen to drop out of the project.What is the rating of the Tuned to You zine?
This zine is strictly SFW and meant for general audiences.What is the theme of this zine?
This zine is dedicated to love language, and however you interpret it. Be it through gestures, words, or gifts.Who can apply to be a contributor?
Despite the SFW rating, we ask that all participants be at least 18 years of age by the time of applications. No prior zine experience is required to apply.Will the merch be digital or physical?
Currently, we expect it to be a digital zine with a PDF format. However, if profits allow, there will be two physical bundles as well; one with a physical + digital copy, and another with additional physical merch included.What kind of merch can we expect?
This will rely heavily upon the results of the interest check, but we hope to have digital, printable, and physical merch options.How will contributors be compensated?
All contributors will receive a free PDF file of the zine. Depending on sales, they can potentially receive a physical copy + merch as well, with free shipping..What charity will the profits be going towards?
The charity will be voted for/decided on by our contributors, and shared on our social media after selection.Can I share my WIPs on social media?
No. All work is required to be kept secret until after the full extent of sales. However, during the creation period, contributors may submit snippets of their work to be shared on our official accounts!How many contributors do you plan on having?
This relies upon the results of the interest check.What are the requirements for artists?
Artists will be required to submit 4 samples of their best work in a style they intend to use for this zine. Backgrounds and Jayvik + Vikjayce are encouraged, though not required. All submissions must fall under SFW guidelines.What are the requirements for writers?
Writers will be required to submit 4 samples of their best work with a maximum word count of 3.5k words. As with artist submissions, these must fall under SFW guidelines.
